Privacy Policy

Effective July 15, 2026

Buzzwick is an arcade game for iOS made by a tiny independent studio. This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: there are no accounts, we never ask for your name or email, we don't sell data, and everything we collect exists to run and improve the game.

What the game collects

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Buzzwick shows optional rewarded ads (watch an ad, revive your run) served by Google AdMob. When an ad is shown, Google may collect device information such as the advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking — see below), IP address, and ad interaction data, under Google's Privacy Policy. See also how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

On first ad use, iOS asks whether Buzzwick may track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, ads still work — they're simply not personalized. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Game Center

Leaderboards use Apple's Game Center. Your Game Center nickname and scores are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; we never see or store your Apple ID.

Data retention & deletion

Gameplay statistics and push tokens live on our infrastructure only as long as they're useful for operating the game. Because gameplay data is anonymous, it cannot be linked back to a request from a specific person — but if you'd like your push token removed, or have any data question, email hello@buzzwick.app and we'll take care of it.

Children

Buzzwick is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game contains only mild cartoon slapstick (a fly gets swatted; a human gets cranky).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
